On Monday, October 2, the children from Granjuela de Vaqueros visited La.Te. Andes to learn about the facilities and objectives of the research and production center.
The group, made up of children aged 10 to 15, listened intently to Dr. Raúl Becchio’s explanations, participating actively and with great curiosity, asking questions constantly and enriching the experience.
Visits to the research center are part of La.Te. Andes’ community outreach program, designed to involve local residents in the activities taking place there.
Among the questions raised by the group, many highlighted topics they explore at the Granjuela program at Finca La Huella with their mentor Olga Lubel—a space where the children connect with nature through various activities such as gardening, vermicomposting, canning, medicinal plants, natural building, organic seed production, animal husbandry, and much more.
