LA.TE. ANDES is a joint venture (GEOMAP-CONICET) that is unique in Latin America. Our core focus is the dating and age determination of mineral samples using cutting-edge technologies. Through innovation in energy development and applied sciences, we reduce the economic risk of projects in the exploration and development stages.
Each solution is designed to support your project from the receipt of samples through the delivery of traceable results with certified accuracy. We combine various dating methods, paleomagnetism, structural modeling, and specialized training so that you can make decisions based on solid evidence.
Fission Tracks
Dating using fission track analysis in apatites and zircons, employing neutron irradiation and Raman spectrometry.
(U-Th-Sm)/He y U/Pb
Capacity and precision thanks to our in situ dual-dating system, ICP-MS (Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry).
Cryogenic Magnetometer
A cryogenic magnetometer developed in-house and based on superconducting sensors for obtaining paleomagnetic data.
Structural Modeling
The 2D-3D structural evolution modeling software for integrating geological and geophysical data, developed and distributed by LA.TE. ANDES
Remote learning
Our extensive experience in live training enables us to offer courses on geoscience topics designed specifically for the oil industry.
ISO 9001:2015 Certification
LA.TE. ANDES has a Quality Management System certified under the ISO 9001:2015 standard, which means that our processes for receiving samples, conducting analyses, and reporting results are standardized, audited, and subject to continuous improvement.
For our clients, this translates into consistent results, full traceability of every sample processed, and uniform quality standards across all the dating methods we offer.
