Just one year after La.Te. Andes was established, its building is already complete, the laboratory equipment is fully installed, and its staff is working at full capacity. The laboratory celebrated this milestone with great satisfaction and enthusiasm by opening its doors to relevant authorities, collaborators, and the Vaqueros community.
In addition to the members of La.Te. Andes, led by its president, Roberto Mario Hernández, the event was attended by Dr. Sergio Daniel Matheos, Undersecretary for Institutional Coordination at the National Ministry of Science, Technology, and Productive Innovation; Juan Soria, Director of Technology Outreach at CONICET; Dr. María Soledad Vicente, Secretary of Science and Technology at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology of the Province of Salta; and the Mayor of Vaqueros, Mr. Daniel Moreno. Also present was Dr. Ulrich Glasmacher from the University of Heidelberg, Germany.
Following the presentation by Mr. Roberto Mario Hernández, Dr. Sergio Daniel Matheos delivered his remarks. Afterward, attendees were able to tour the laboratory facilities, guided by its technical director, Dr. Raúl Becchio, and the laboratory’s researchers and technicians, who explained the activities, techniques, and equipment used.Just one year after La.Te.
