On Thursday, September 24, 2020, the event Knowledge Economy, Industry, and Local Productive Development – Industry Meeting for Argentina, Province of Salta, an event organized by the Undersecretariat of Knowledge Economy of the National Ministry of Productive Development, with the support of the Government of the Province of Salta through the Ministries of Production, Sustainable Development, and Education, Culture, Science, and Technology, and the Agency for Scientific Promotion and Technological Innovation for Productive Development of Salta.
On this occasion, the president of LA.TE. ANDES S.A. and member of the Advisory Board of the aforementioned provincial agency, Mr. Roberto Hernández, presented LA.TE. ANDES, a Comprehensive Public-Private Partnership Project. A Form of Unity (Symbiosis). During the presentation, emphasis was placed on how to transform weaknesses and threats into strengths and opportunities in technology-based projects and on the importance of private-public, private-private, and public-public partnership strategies for the design, development, and execution of such projects. In this regard, LA.TE ANDES, the Salta Business Group GEOMAP/CONICET, was presented as a success story of a technological innovation project and company applied to the productive system.
The event, held in line with the Federalization of the Knowledge Economy, was attended by over 200 participants, including national and provincial authorities, business leaders, representatives of the scientific and academic community, and both national and provincial audiences interested in the topic. Before this audience, LA.TE. ANDES was presented as a reality that seeks to integrate KNOWLEDGE of geological time as a strategic tool for the geosciences and to reduce exploration risk in the hydrocarbons, mining, and geothermal industries, serving as the ideal environment for developing the company’s capabilities in terms of infrastructure, equipment, and human resources training as the operational foundations for the Cron. Ar® (Thermocronology and Geochronology), Cri.Ar® (Paleomagnetism, Argentine Cryogenic Magnetometer), and Andino 3D® (2D/3D and 4D Structural Modeling Software).
