As part of the virtual lecture series organized by the Institute for Research on Cultural Diversity and Processes of Change in San Carlos de Bariloche (CONICET-UNRN), technical staff from LA.TE. ANDES S.A. participated in the following presentations:
August 24, 2020. Presentation titled Assessment of Organic Matter Maturity Using Raman Microspectrometry, by Dr. Guadalupe Arzadún.
September 7, 2020. Presentation titled Low- and high-temperature geochronology (40–850°C), by Dr. Cristina Guibaldo and geologist Sofía Bordese.
These talks, which drew a large audience of professionals and researchers in Earth Sciences from across the country, resulted in a significant technical and methodological exchange regarding the application of techniques currently in use at LA.TE. ANDES S.A., notably including Fission Track Analysis in Apatites and Zircons (AFT-ZFT), (U-Th-Sm)/He in Apatites and Zircons (AHe-ZHe), and U-Pb in Zircons using LA-ICPMS.
