From Wednesday, April 5, to Saturday, April 8, 2017, staff from LaTe Andes participated in the 24th Colloquium on Latin American Earth Sciences, a major event for scientific updates in the field of earth sciences in Latin America, organized by the Institute of Geography at Heidelberg University.

On this occasion, the LaTe Andes Center for Development in Thermochronology was presented to the international scientific community, highlighting its multiple objectives currently being implemented: fission track thermochronology, the development of the Andino 3D structural modeling software, and the Cri.Ar cryogenic magnetometer, which is in the development stage.

Regarding thermochronology, the presentation provided details about the products and services offered by this technology development center based in the town of Vaqueros, Province of Salta.

LaTe Andes appreciates the participation and interest of the international scientific community, expressed through recognition of this public-private initiative and the constructive inquiries and suggestions provided.
