La.Te. Andes is pleased to announce that on March 26, 2020, it achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its R&D Production Technology Center, granted by the German certification and inspection body TÜVRheinland®, under certificate registration number 01 100 2029779.
The processes covered by this recognized international standard are:
Provision of services for the receipt of geological samples, reduction and size separation, mineral concentration using gravimetric and magnetic methods, manual separation of crystal-quality material, mounting and polishing of crystals for geochronological and thermochronological dating methods, acid etching, neutron irradiation, measurement of fission traces in apatites and zircons, and age determination. Preparation and issuance of technical reports on the results.
In addition to improving the organization’s overall performance, the implementation of its ISO 9001:2015 management system will contribute to consistently providing high-quality geological services, improving the satisfaction of our many national and international clients, regularly assessing risks and opportunities, and growing sustainably by developing new innovative services for the industry.
