This morning, a group of representatives from the Vaqueros Retirees and Pensioners Center “Casa de la Comunidad” took part in the first guided tour of the La.Te. Andes Research Center.
Dr. Raúl Becchio explained, in an engaging and interactive talk, the activities carried out at the Center, providing an introduction to basic geological concepts and terminology, followed by a tour of the laboratory to familiarize them with the process and purpose of the research conducted there.
The participants from “Casa de la Comunidad” showed great enthusiasm during the tour, asking questions and clarifying any doubts regarding the safety of the procedures and work methods.
This is the first in a series of scheduled visits to the Center, aimed at informing and communicating to the surrounding community the actions and activities that take place there.
