The scope of the Quality Management System at LA.TE. ANDES is:
Provision of dating and geochemical services for geo- and thermochronological studies, from sample receipt to the issuance of technical reports:
- Fission traces in apatites and zircons using two methods: EDM (External Detector Method) and LA-ICP-MS (laser ablation and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry).
- Uranium-Lead in apatites and zircons by LA-ICP-MS (laser ablation and mass spectrometry).
- Uranium–Thorium–Helium in apatites and zircons by isotopic dilution using mass spectrometry (ICP-MS and Alphachron).
- In situ dual dating (fission tracks and Uranium-Lead) in apatites and zircons by LA-ICP-MS.
- Geochemistry in apatites and zircons by LA-ICP-MS.
