The talk included a historical overview, details on the institutional framework of the Cri.Ar project, and a presentation of the technical specifications of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lateandes.com\/cri-ar\/\"> magnetometer<\/a>, which is currently in the final calibration phase and will begin providing paleomagnetic measurement services in approximately one month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cri.Ar project is carried out by LaTe Andes in collaboration with scientists from<a href=\"http:\/\/www.conicet.gov.ar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> CONICET<\/a>, the National Atomic Energy Commission (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cab.cnea.gov.ar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNEA<\/a>), and the company<a href=\"http:\/\/www.edv-ing.com.ar\/es\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Endeavour Ingenier\u00eda.<\/a> Its objective is to develop a cryogenic rock magnetometer with capabilities similar to or superior to those of commercial magnetometers, at a fraction of the cost.
