The purpose of this visit was to tour the facilities of LA.TE. ANDES S.A. and establish points of agreement for collaborative work with the Isotope Geology Laboratory (<a href=\"https:\/\/igeo.ufrgs.br\/ig\/index.php\/laboratorios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CPGQ<\/a>) of the<a href=\"https:\/\/igeo.ufrgs.br\/ig\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <strong>Institute of Geosciences<\/strong><\/a> in Rio Grande, which specializes in thermochronology (AFTA and U-Th\/He) and U\/Pb dating of zircons.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 24, we welcomed faculty members and undergraduate and graduate students from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, to our facilities.
